A shared passion for great golf courses has led the legendary Swiss watchmaker ROLEX and golf publisher D’Algue Selection to produce a unique and independent guide that determines and ranks the world’s top 1000 golf courses.
Building on the success and appreciation of that publication, the team at D’Algue Selection, under the leadership of its founder Gaëtan Mourgue d’Algue, has collaborated to produce this second edition, which once again reviews the golf courses of the world and establishes the very best 1000.

UNIQUE GUIDE
We have a network of over 200 "inspectors", composed of enlightened amateurs, professional golfers and journalists specializing in golf course architecture. They have anonymously worked their way around the golfing world, completing an in-depth questionnaire and adding incisive and personalized comments of their own. 

COUNTRIES REPRESENTED
66 countries are represented in the guide, with all manner of golf course (links, seaside, parkland etc) and all the varied types of golf club, be they private, public or resort. It is interesting to note that 36% of the courses are to be found in the United States, 28% in Europe, with the fast developing countries of Asia Pacific having 23%, leaving 13% covering the rest of the world.
